[NEWS] Royal Caribbean docks in Cuba for the first time

The ease on the travel ban for Americans to travel to Cuba has certainly made the Caribbean country off the coast of Florida a popular place to travel to in recent years. Royal Caribbean International has since then made it easier for travellers from the United States to visit Cuba’s preserved colonial heritage on its Empress of the Seas cruiser.

On 23 April 2017, the cruise line made its inaugural visit to Cuba with the new and improved Empress of the Seas as part of a five-night sail from Miami. Guests will be able to to explore the island country renowned for its legendary nightlife, iconic music and distinct culture. The vibrant cuban culture extends to the ship as well, from cortaditos to salsa music and dancing within Boleros Latin lounge, guests will be enlivened with the spirit of the island brought onboard the cruise for the entire journey.
