World Gourmet Summit celebrates its 21st year of nurturing culinary talents from Singapore and internationally. This year’s WGS focuses on the theme of United Nations Gastronomic Assembly (UNGA) as the spotlight shines on a new generation of chefs representing at least 16 countries who are making their mark in gastronomy around the world.
New to this year’s WGS, and the one we’re most excited for, is The Royal Gourmet Staycation. Held at Villa Samadhi and Tamarind Hill, the staycation is an invitation to guests to experience royal Thai cuisine by Resident Chef Wanthana Nikosaen. The 2D1N stay includes a royal Thai luncheon, and activities such as tea appreciation, wine and music afternoon and Thai market soiree on the first day, and a breakfast and Sunday brunch on the second.
Villa Samadhi is a restored colonial residence that exudes old Malayan charm. Escape to the lush and verdant side of Singapore and revel in any of its 20 chambers that have been furnished to blend in perfectly with its charming colonial surroundings.
